Fawanis Ramadan Cake

Fawanis Ramadan Cake

In anticipation of one of the most meaningful moments in the region’s calendar, Four Seasons hotels across the GCC come together to mark the Holy Month through Hikayat Ramadan, a celebration inspired by storytelling and shared cultural moments. Rooted in connection, the concept is brought to life through a series of thoughtfully curated experiences that honour local traditions and the joy of gathering with family and friends. Guided by the meaning of Hikayat, the Arabic word for stories and tales, each Four Seasons property interprets the theme through its own lens, creating intimate, locally inspired Ramadan experiences, including a signature cake that reflects regional narratives.

Incorporating the destination’s distinctive identity into the Hikayat theme, Executive Pastry Chef Anas Al Qusairi and the team at Four Seasons Hotel Amman have created a symbolic Fawanis Cake. Taking its name from the Arabic word for lantern, this decadent dessert reflects the spirit of connection, generosity, and togetherness that define Ramadan nights. Layered with date crème brûlée, pistachio, chocolate crémeux, honey milk chocolate cream, and a salted pistachio rice crisp base, and finished with a delicate chocolate spray, the Fawanis Cake brings together contrasting textures and flavours inspired by the season.

Guests can enjoy this sweet creation as part of the Ramadan dessert buffet or purchase it from The Foyer Lounge for JD8 (Price is subject to taxes and service charge).

When: Throughout Ramadan
