Madrid in Spring – Discovering the capital from Brach Madrid

When spring settles over Madrid, the city takes on a softer and more vibrant rhythm. Located on Gran Vía in the heart of the Spanish capital, Brach Madrid provides immediate access to the culture, shopping and gastronomy that define the city today.

Designed by Philippe Starck, the five-star hotel features 57 rooms including four suites, along with the Wellness Capsule offering Clarins and myBlend treatments and a 20-metre indoor pool.

Spring mornings can begin with a walk through Retiro Park, where tree-lined paths, blooming gardens and the lake offer a peaceful escape in the centre of the city. Guests may then explore cultural venues such as the María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation, where works by Picasso, Miró, Dalí and Barceló are on display. For sports enthusiasts, the Madrid Open takes place at the Caja Mágica from 20 April to 3 May 2026.

Later in the day, visitors can discover the rose gardens near the Palacio Real and the Parque del Oeste, while the nearby Salamanca district offers designer boutiques and luxury shopping.

In mid-May, the city celebrates San Isidro, its patron saint, with festivities taking place across Pradera de San Isidro, Las Vistillas and Plaza Mayor.

Evenings continue at Brach Le Restaurant by Chef Adam Bentalha, La Pâtisserie Brach and the cocktail bar, before ending the day on the seventh-floor terrace overlooking Gran Vía.

Paris in Spring – Exploring the Marais from Cour des Vosges

In Paris, spring awakens the historic Marais district, where Cour des Vosges overlooks the iconic Place des Vosges. Housed in a 17th-century residence designed by LeCoadic & Scotto, the five-star hotel offers 12 rooms and suites combining heritage and contemporary elegance.

The Marais is best explored on foot. Guests can visit museums such as the Picasso Museum and the Carnavalet Museum, or discover boutiques including A.P.C., Sœur, Isabel Marant, Diptyque, Le Labo and Guerlain.

Cycling offers another perspective of the city, connecting the Marais to the banks of the Seine and passing through the Palais-Royal gardens and the Tuileries before reaching the Jeu de Paume, where the exhibition “Martin Parr, Global Warning” explores contemporary society and tourism.

Moments of relaxation can follow in the Roman bath, through in-room treatments or during a pause at the tea salon, before continuing the evening in the lively wine bars around Saint-Paul or Arts-et-Métiers.

Venice in Spring – Culture and lagoon discoveries at Nolinski Venezia

Spring in Venice brings gentle light and a slower rhythm. Located near St Mark’s Square and within walking distance of the Rialto Market, Nolinski Venezia offers a refined base for discovering the city.

Opened in 2023, the five-star hotel designed by LeCoadic & Scotto features 43 rooms and suites, a myBlend spa suite and an indoor pool overlooking the rooftops of Venice.

Spring 2026 coincides with the 61st Venice Biennale, transforming the city into an open-air cultural journey from the Arsenale to the Giardini. Other important venues include Punta della Dogana, Palazzo Grassi, Ca’ Pesaro and the Fondazione Querini Stampalia. Nolinski Venezia also presents contemporary artworks in partnership with Perrotin Gallery during the event.

Beyond the city, visitors can explore the Venetian lagoon. Murano is renowned for its glassmaking tradition, Burano is known for colourful houses and craftsmanship, while Torcello offers a quieter and more historic landscape.

Spring is also a culinary season, with dishes such as risotto primavera, roast lamb with artichokes and the traditional Colomba cake appearing across restaurant menus in the city.

After a day of discovery, guests can unwind at the spa, enjoy a cocktail at the Library Bar, attend an opera at Teatro La Fenice or simply return to the calm of their room.
