This Ramadan, BurJuman Mall turns evenings into moments of pause & connections, where families gather after iftar, stories are shared, and traditions take centre stage. Running from the start of the Holy Month all through Eid Al Fitr 2026 celebrations, the programme places storytelling and cultural connection at the centre of the season, in line with the UAE’s Year of the Family.
At the heart of this year’s celebrations are free Hakawati Storytelling Nights by famed Storytelling Company, a weekly after-iftar experience inspired by the age-old tradition of oral storytelling. Every Saturday at Lobby B, Level 1, these storytelling sessions are conducted where families are brought together through tales of kindness, faith, and imagination, highlighting cultural, themed stories and reflections that are embedded with the true essence of Ramadan.
The mall also invites visitors to explore cultural experiences everyday between 7pm – 10pm including complimentary coffee and dates & palm weaving demonstrations with Arabic calligraphy & oud performances specifically on weekends. For younger visitors, the Ramadan Kids’ Reading Club at B Hub offers a quieter, thoughtful experience. Organized on Saturdays in partnership with The Storytelling Company, these sessions introduce children aged 8 to 14 to stories inspired by the values of the Holy Month.
As part of its Ramadan programme, BurJuman Mall is also collaborating with Emirates Red Crescent on a CSR initiative aligned with the values of generosity and community support during the Holy Month, inviting everyone to donate good condition clothes, blankets and food items, with min. 6 months shelf life, for people in need.
Eid Al Fitr will be marked with a series of festive cultural experiences across the three days of Eid.
