From opera and ballet to musicals, concerts, and Arabic music nights, the season promises a cultural showcase that reflects Dubai’s cosmopolitan spirit.
The curtain rises with a trio of timeless classics: Puccini’s La Bohème, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 and “Emperor” Piano Concerto, and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. This powerful opening highlights Dubai Opera’s ability to blend historic masterpieces with the fresh energy that audiences anticipate every year.
The season welcomes global icons, from Yuja Wang’s Middle East debut to the Mariinsky Orchestra and the Russian National Philharmonic led by maestro Vladimir Spivakov. Opera legends Plácido Domingo and José Carreras return to the stage, alongside a rare performance of Handel’s Tamerlano. For classical enthusiasts, this lineup offers world-class artistry right in the heart of Dubai.
Audiences can look forward to the Hungarian National Ballet’s Swan Lake, an exclusive evening with star Roberto Bolle and elite dancers, and the festive charm of The Nutcracker in December. The mix of timeless productions and contemporary creativity ensures ballet lovers experience the magic in full.
Dubai Opera makes history by bringing Wicked The Musical to the region for the first time in January 2026. Fans will also enjoy the vibrant energy of Grease and the poetic storytelling of Rumi: The Musical. These productions bring Broadway-level grandeur without leaving the city.
The season offers global acts such as Kings of Convenience, Jon Batiste, and Goran Bregović, while the Arabic program shines with performances by Najwa Karam, Elissa, Omar Khairat, and Khalid Abdulrahman. This unique blend of international and regional talent positions Dubai Opera as a stage for every taste.
