Manchester City star Erling Haaland continues to turn heads not only on the pitch but also in the world of luxury cars. The Norwegian striker has added an ultra rare Mercedes Maybach Virgil Abloh to his growing collection, reportedly worth around 500000 USD. This exclusive sedan is one of just 150 units produced worldwide, making it one of the most desirable collector cars today. Known for his passion for performance and luxury, Haaland now owns a garage valued at over 12 million USD, reflecting a lifestyle that blends speed, status, and standout design.
The Mercedes Maybach S Class Virgil Abloh stands out as one of the final bespoke creations developed in collaboration with the late Virgil Abloh, who served as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton. Completed before his passing in 2021, the car carries both cultural and artistic significance, elevating its value far beyond a traditional luxury sedan.
The exterior features a striking two tone design, combining glossy black on the upper section with a sandy finish across the sides and wheels. Inside, the attention to detail reflects Abloh’s creative vision, with custom branding placed across the center console, seats, headrests, and door sills. Even the digital interface includes exclusive design elements, reinforcing the car’s identity as a true collector piece. This unique blend of fashion and automotive engineering transforms the Maybach into more than just transportation, making it a rolling piece of art.
Despite its luxury focus, the Maybach delivers serious performance. It is powered by a 6.0 liter twin turbo V12 engine producing around 621 hp, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 96 kmh in just 4.5 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmh, and the all wheel drive system ensures smooth and confident performance in all conditions.
Haaland’s latest purchase joins an already impressive lineup of high end vehicles. His collection includes the Aston Martin DBX707 valued at about 440000 USD, the Rolls Royce Cullinan worth around 380000 USD, and the Porsche 911 GT3 priced near 200000 USD. Additional models like the Range Rover Sport, Audi RS6 Avant, and Mercedes AMG GLE Coupe further highlight his taste for both performance and daily usability.
Earning close to 630000 USD per week, Haaland’s latest acquisition represents just a fraction of his income. Yet it perfectly reflects his identity as both a global sports icon and a dedicated car enthusiast who values exclusivity as much as performance.
