Mercedes Benz is getting ready to open a new chapter in premium electric mobility with the all new VLE. Built on the brand’s flexible Van Architecture platform, this model is designed to blend the comfort of a limousine with the space and everyday usefulness of a premium MPV. It also brings in the latest Mercedes Benz Operating System, an 800 volt charging system, and a more advanced digital cabin experience shaped by generative AI. With room for up to eight passengers, impressive flexibility, and a driving range that goes beyond 700 km, the VLE is clearly aimed at families, executives, and drivers who want luxury without giving up practicality.
Mercedes Benz has shaped the VLE as more than a people mover, turning it into a smart and flexible luxury space that can adapt to different lifestyles. Its sleek body is designed for efficiency, with a drag coefficient of just 0.25, which helps improve both quietness and range. Inside, the cabin can seat up to eight people, but the real highlight is the Roll and Go seating system, which lets owners rearrange the interior manually or through the Mercedes Benz app. This gives the VLE the ability to shift from family shuttle to executive lounge to large cargo carrier with impressive ease. When maximum space is needed, storage can expand to 4,078 liters with the seats removed.
Mercedes Benz also gives the VLE a richer premium feel through Grand Comfort seats with massage functions, lumbar support, wireless charging, and extended leg rests. Rear passengers can enjoy a huge 31.3 inch 8K screen built into the roof liner, creating a cinematic experience that can also work as a mobile office for video calls. Above them, the Sky View panoramic roof adds even more openness to the cabin, while ambient lighting and an electric sunshade help create a warmer and more refined atmosphere. Up front, the Superscreen places three displays under one glass surface, giving both driver and front passenger quick access to entertainment, information, and cloud gaming. Mercedes Benz also adds ChatGPT and Google Gemini integration, allowing the new MBUX assistant to understand more natural and context aware conversations, making the VLE feel more personal in everyday use.
