China Tang Dubai brings the legacy of London’s acclaimed Cantonese restaurant to The Lana Promenade, Dorchester Collection, marking the brand’s highly anticipated Middle East debut in May 2025. The brand’s first outpost in the Middle East continues the storied heritage of its Mayfair counterpart, offering a refined dining experience that blends timeless Cantonese culinary traditions with Dubai’s contemporary dining scene.
Inspired by the opulent Art Deco glamour of 1930s Shanghai, the restaurant’s design features chinoiserie detailing, custom stained glass, mirrored ceilings, and handpicked objets d’art that reflect China Tang’s signature aesthetic, reimagined with a modern cosmopolitan sensibility. Set along the Marasi Bay Marina with panoramic views of the iconic Burj Khalifa, China Tang Dubai spans two floors with seating for 180 guests. The restaurant also offers two private dining rooms, one accommodating up to 16 guests and the other up to 12, and an elegant cocktail bar that provides a setting for pre- and post-dinner gatherings, complete with a unique beverage program crafted to complement the restaurant’s famed dim sum and small plates.
Led by Executive Chef Simon Wu, who brings four decades of Cantonese fine-dining expertise, the menu honors traditional recipes while incorporating contemporary touches tailored to the city’s discerning palate.
