For one night only, on Saturday 14th February, the iconic Cantonese dining destination at The Lana Promenade by Dorchester Collection, presents an intimate four-course sharing menu designed for moments best savoured together.
Set against the restaurant’s opulent Art Deco interiors inspired by the romance of 1930s Shanghai, Valentine’s Day at China Tang Dubai unfolds as a carefully choreographed love affair where heritage, flavour and atmosphere converge in perfect harmony.
The evening begins with a choice of refined starters, from Spinach in “28” Sesame Peanut Dressing, to Chao Zhou–style Raw Salmon Salad. Guests are then invited to share a Chef’s Selection Steamed Dim Sum Basket, as a celebration of intricate culinary craftsmanship and the joy of dining together.
Taking centre stage, the main courses arrive as a generous pairing: Stir-Fried Australian A5 Wagyu Fillet in Black Pepper, offering rich and indulgent love affair on the palate, alongside Chicken in Lemon Sauce, for a fragrant and comforting contrast, accompanied by sides of Lo Han Mixed Vegetables and Seafood Egg Fried Rice, to ground the experience in the warmth and generosity of classic Cantonese cuisine.
The evening concludes on a sweet note with a limited-edition Valentine’s dessert, specially created by BONBON Café. Delve into a velvety vanilla sponge delicately coated in Tonka white chocolate mousse and red fruit marmalade - a final moment of indulgence to close a night devoted to romance.
As a romantic gesture, and to perfectly complement the menu, China Tang Dubai will unveil a bespoke à la carte Valentine’s cocktail addition , ‘Love at First Sight’ . Crafted exclusively for the occasion, the cocktail opens with refreshing pineapple notes followed by delicate forest fruits, layered with soft floral nuances and finished with a silky, elusive touch - a drink designed to tantalise from the very first sip. Guests may also choose to elevate the experience with the option to add a bottle of champagne to celebrate the evening in style and grandeur.
